2025 brings plenty of exciting events to Kolding. Here's an overview of some major events, so you can mark your calendar in advance.

Campus Kolding promises a year filled with thrilling events that bring students together for unique experiences. From grand festivals and sports tournaments to inspiring research projects and dazzling drag shows — 2025 will be a year where creativity, community, and engagement go hand in hand.

KOLD Festival - January 30th - February 1st

Experience concerts at various locations around the city during this year’s KOLD Festival. Enjoy student discounts and youth discounts (under 25) on all ticket types. Plus, you can attend a free concert at UC SYD. Learn more at koldfestival.dk.

Open House - February 1st

Come to the Joint Open House at Campus Kolding, where you can visit IBA, SDU, UC SYD, and Design School Kolding all on the same day. You can also explore student life in Kolding by touring a student housing option, meeting the Campus Kolding team, and enjoying a free concert. Read more here.

Student Ball City Final - TBA

Bring your classmates when we are finding Kolding's best football team in the city finals of Student Ball! Amazing prizes are up for grabs, and the top four teams will advance to the national finals. Don’t miss it. Learn more about Student Ball.

Research Day - TBA

This year's program is yet to be determined. Last year's Research Day focused on youth well-being. Researchers from across Campus gave talks, Trapholt Artmates contributed a collaborative artwork, and, as always, we hosted our popular badge workshop.

Slotskampen - May 9th

Join Kolding's largest dodgeball tournament when Campus Kolding invites you to Slotskampen - The Fight for the Castle Trophy. Look forward to costumes, drag queens, happy hour, and an amazing atmosphere. Stay updated via the Facebook event.

Culture Night - August 30

Culture Night is Kolding's biggest event, where the city is brimming with life and activities. Stop by a shared Campus Square, where you can meet the Campus Kolding Team and the four higher education institutions. More information to follow.

KONTUR - September 4th and 5th

Join us for the year’s biggest student festival as we celebrate the start of the semester with a two-day festival at Godset Ujnfor. Look forward to magical concerts, creative workshops, and cozy lounge areas — you won’t want to miss it! Stay updated via the Facebook event.

Intro Kolding - October 1st

Intro Kolding is the perfect opportunity to connect with the city’s many associations and student-focused offerings. It’s a student fair designed to introduce you to Kolding as a student city — helping you get off to a great start. More information to come.

Drag bingo - October 22nd

The iconic drag queen Mizz Privileze returns to Campus Kolding for another spicy, fun, and entertaining show with bingo and communal dinner. Tickets sold out quickly in 2024, so stay updated via the Facebook event.
