In Denmark we have our own currency, which is counted in kroner and \u00f8rer. Kroner is usually abbreviated as 'kr.' in danish and 'DKK' in english. 1 kr. is equal to 100 \u00f8rer. Coins are in denominations of 50 \u00f8rer, 1 kr., 2 kr., 5 kr., 10 kr. and 20 kr. Notes are in denominations of 50 kr., 100 kr., 200 kr., 500 kr. and 1.000 kr.<\/p>

Grocery expenses<\/h2>

The basic food expenses vary between 1.000 \u2013 2.400 DKK per month, depending of where you shop and which items you shop.<\/p>

You can find several shopping facilities for your daily needs in Kolding. For groceries, there are F\u00f8tex, Lidl (low-price), Meny, Netto (low-price), REMA1000 (low-price), Spar, SuperBrugsen, and 365discount (low-price)<\/p>

In the northern part of Kolding you will find the shopping mall Kolding Storcenter, which also accommodates the discount store Bilka.<\/p>
